According to al-Arab al-Yawm news website, Kuwait’s minister of Awqaf and Islamic affairs and Tunisia’s religious affairs minister signed the document in Tunis on Sunday.
The two countries will hold joint religious and Quranic programs, including competitions.
The agreement also includes cooperation in training prayer leaders, muezzins, conducting research studies in religious fields and publishing books.
Kuwait is an Arab country in the Persian Gulf region and Tunisia is a country North Africa. Islam is the official religion in both countries.
